New York- Pre candidato al senado estatal por el distrito 31 Robert Jackson, sigue recibiendo el respaldo de los principales líderes demócratas del estado de New York. Además cabe destacar que la candidatura de Jackson, sigue creciendo en todos sectores del distrito 31, ganándose al electorado con el apoyo de líderes locales y de mujeres progresistas.
Lideres como: NYC Comptroller Scott Stringer, Mayor David Dinkins, Ruth Messinger, former Manhattan Borough President, Congressman Jerry Nadler, Zenaida Mendez, past President of NYS- NOW, Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney, Council Speaker Corey Johnson, Congressman Charles Rangel, Assemblymember Deborah Glick, Assemblymember Inez E. Dickens, Assemblymember Al Taylor, Assemblywoman Linda Rosenthal entre otros han confirmado su respaldo a Robert Jackson.
Con este gran respaldo y muchos más se da como seguro ganador el 13 de septiembre en las primarias demócratas a Robert Jackson.
Robert Jackson, desde Presidente de la Junta Escolar, donde caminó 150 millas hasta Albany para llamar la atención sobre la desigualdad educacional, a servir por 12 años en el Concejo Municipal, a luchas recientes a favor de inquilinos y viviendas asequibles, Robert Jackson se enfrenta a las luchas duras a favor de los neoyorquinos una vez tras otra y nunca se rinde.
